My role is to provide safety training to all employees before they go out into the operations. These activities include-Ergonomics of carrying packages-Proper lifting and loading/unloading packages-Hazmat Training/How to recognize a leaking package-Conduct \"Active Threat Training\"-Educate operation of equipment safely-Facilitate \"Conveyor Securing Training\"-Use of loading/unloading tools to assist in lifting-Handle all employee workers compensation claims-Oversee,facility inspections with maintenance-Execute all fire drills with employees in building-Work with security and hr, on building safety violations-Ensure that wastes is being destroyed properly, and disposal requirements followed-Mentor/coach employees on using education assistance program to further their careers-Present to senior team, safety metrics monthly,and we can improve on the safety of the building-Oversee the safety committees for all sorts.
