About Larry Dye
Having spent the last 7 years working 100% remote I\'ve come to realize that I\'m significantly more productive because of it, and the huge increase in my quality of life from being able to do so is undeniable. As a result positions that are fully remote will receive priority consideration going forward. A short initial familiarization in office and occasional office trips for critical meetings where face to face interaction is advantageous are expected and are fine. A significant benefit of being able to effectively work from my home office means that I can consider employment opportunities with companies in virtually any location. As an IT leader with over 20 years of experience in the communications field I’m confident that I would be a strong addition to any organizations IT team. I’m highly educated, highly trained, and have been successful at very technical jobs in extremely stressful work environments. My natural leadership and affinity for IT has allowed me to excel in sink or swim environments. My military training as both an enlisted Marine AND commissioned Army officer coupled with extensive civilian work experience has developed both my ability to follow and to lead along with instilling in me the experience to know when each is most appropriate. I take great pride in my work and IT is more than just a job for me, I’ve embraced the reality that it’s my ‘calling’. While working in my current position I have become the platform owner for Active Directory and Azure/Entra AD, and currently serve as the Identity Architect for a Fortune 200 company. Certifications: Microsoft MCSE, MCSA Exchange Messaging SpecialistSpecialties: Active Directory, PKI / certificate services, AD LDS, ADFS, DNS, DFS, Group Policy/Intune device configuration policies, Azure/Entra AD and AD connect, Single Sign-on, Azure/Entra conditional Access and MFA.
