   Manages eight team members engaged in Finance, Treasury, Banking, Balance Sheet Analysis, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Budgeting, and Reporting for two global business units. Works with volunteers and leaders across all business units to report on operations across the United States, as well as in global offices in India, China, Singapore, and Russia. Partnered with Legal and Treasury to register offshore accounts to add US staff members as signatories; reduced noncompliant accounts from 700 to fewer than 50 over three years. Effectively managed projects that included MD & A, audits, management responses to audits, and other initiatives. Migrated paper-based reporting to digital formats using the NetSuite platform. Developed Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery protocols in cooperation with Technology and Risk/Insurance teams. Authored a formal Accounting policy and procedures manual, as well as allocation process documentation and year-end process improvements that secured gains in accruals, reporting, and other areas. Shortened the month-end close period by one week, and the year-end close process by one month. Improved reporting to 98% compliance, an increase from 90% in prior years.
