Veteran of the music business, attorney, record executive, and artist manager. One of the first African-Americans to be hired as an attorney at any major entertainment company Capitol Records. Created and ran the Black Music Division as Senior VP. Served as Senior Vice Presidents at Arista, Sony, Columbia and Epic. Discovered and/or Executive Produced such major talents as Natalie Cole, Luther Vandross, Peabo Bryson, Maze, New Kids on the Block, Tavares, Taste of Honey, the Sylvers, Third World, GQ, Hiroshima, to name a few. Served as Director and Executive producer for artists, Marvin Gaye, Gladys Knight, Bill Cosby, Eddie Murphy, Nancy Wilson, Denice Williams, Third World, Earth Wind & Fire, The Jacksons and many more. Executive in charge of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” album, which became the largest selling album in history. Responsible for over 125 gold and platinum singles and albums. Over 35 Grammy\'s. Managed the platinum selling careers of such stars as Teena Marie, Karyn White, After 7, Ralph Tresvant and Mint Condition.
