   Communicates with employees regarding their needs for leave and/or modified work schedules. Ensures that employees are aware of their responsibilities and of any documentation and notice required to qualify for and to take leave.• Partners with a third-party administrator (TPA) Reliance Matrix to coordinate leaves, determine eligibility, monitor, and track absence status, documentation and return to work dates.• Maintains reasonable and timely communication with Human Resources, General Managers, and Controllers to facilitate efficient leave processing.• Advises managers and employees on the interaction of leave laws with paid time off, workers’ compensation, and short-term and long-term disability benefits.• Coordinates with General Managers to develop modified work scheduling or return to work accommodations connected to a leave of absence.• Oversees the return-to-work process for employees returning from extended FMLA, workers’ compensation, or other leave(s).• Facilitates other leave requests, which may include accommodation requests under the ADA.• Drafts and/or recommends revisions to company leave policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.• Maintains knowledge of all applicable leave and accommodation laws including the FMLA, ADA, and state and local laws.• Creates various reports and formats in PowerPoint or Excel using Third Party Administrator databases for the Manager (such as lost work days, types of leaves, etc.)
