Serve in the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Health and Human Services, Department of Health Care Finance to provide policy, implementation, and coordination of all community engagement, workforce business, and other partnerships related to the new hospital, Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center, GW Health, and new health system being established in partnership with Universal Health Services (UHS). The goal is to build an equitable integrated healthcare system east of the river in Wards 7 & 8. Responsible for handling special projects pertaining to the new hospital and health system which requires engagement and coordination between the community based organizations, businesses, individuals, health organizations, and various government agencies to foster greater collaboration in an effort to meet all targets and goals outlined for the integrated healthcare system and timely opening of the Hospital and other facilities. Serve as a liaison between private, public, quasi, and non-profit organizations and other government agencies on the issues of community engagement, workforce, CBE, outreach, and partnerships. Attend community and stakeholder meetings to provide updates on the hospital and health system’s progress toward implementation and serve as a trusted bi-lateral conduit for communication with the community. Serve as a representative for the Executive Office, or coordinates core materials to the Director, City Council and other District and federal government officials. In addition, conduct analyses and/or studies that may be necessary to respond accurately to specific questions or inquiries.
