ABOUT LARISSA DAVIDS

Throughout my nursing career, I have appreciated opportunities participating in the direct improvement and progression of patient care. With my ICU, peri-operative, pediatric, ambulatory, and leadership experience, I have gained a unique understanding of the continuum of patient care. These experiences enable me to see processes and gaps of care from multiple angles. During my career, my fondness for process improvement lead me to continue my education, obtain certifications, present at national conferences, provide EMR support to other clinicians, begin my own research and pilots, and set goals to improve healthcare and patient experience. I also posses experience and interest in population health management including, preventative health maintenance, chronic disease management, patient education, team based care, transitions of care, motivational interviewing, daily improvement, and tele-health nursing initiatives. I don\'t comprehend,\"It can\'t be done.\" New opportunities are always around the corner and I am open to any challenges that will improve patient care and experience.
