ABOUT LARISSA BARBOSA FERREIRA
I\'m a student at Barnard College of Columbia University, studying Sociology and Human Rights on the pre-law track, with particular interest in Race, Ethnicity, Disability, and Latin American Studies. As a first-generation Latina-American, I\'m deeply passionate about serving others and promoting visibility for underrepresented communities.My driving passion lies in disability justice and inclusion, inspired by my younger brother. He motivates me every day to advocate for those often left out of the conversation. I hope to pursue research and systemic change in areas such as special education, healthcare, civil rights law, and the social stigmas surrounding disability.I\'m committed to creating meaningful change in my community through unity, advocacy, and acceptance.
