Manage and coordinate a variety of baseline environmental surveys for pre- and post-construction energy development projects across the US and Canada• Develop Habitat Conservation Plans, Eagle Conservation Plans, Bird and Bat Conservation Strategies• Conduct endangered bat presence probable absence (P/A) mist-net, acoustic (Anabat II/SD1/SD2/swift, SM2/3/4), and telemetry surveys for proposed energy developments in the Midwestern and eastern states• Conduct habitat assessments for federal and state-listed mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, benthic macroinvertebrates, and native grasslands• Analysis, QAQC, and qualitative call labeling of full spectrum and zero cross bat acoustic data to assess species presence and peak activity spatially and temporally at North American projects• Preparation of Tier II, Tier and Tier IV reports (WEG), SOW’s, novel study plans, site characterization studies, risk assessments and alternatives, and P/A reports• Use and revision of R code for various analyses including fatality monitoring, P/A, acoustic activity, and avian use• Assist with hiring and training of experienced wildlife biologists for field surveys• Assist with protocol development for bat survey and research needs• Assess effects of proposed land use changes on plant communities, wildlife, and habitat
