ABOUT LARA QUIE

Hello there! I’m Lara Quie (pronounced like Queen without the “n”). A graduate of Oxford University and originally a European Competition lawyer in Big Law, I quit the City to retrain as a Montessori nursery school teacher and start a family.I then inadvertently became an entrepreneur, launching Sola Kitchens together with a fellow lawyer. We grew it from a chalet in my garden to a high street showroom. 2011, my husband got posted to Hong Kong and we moved our family to Asia. After three years, we relocated again to Singapore, where we spent nine happy years.Bored of playing too much tennis and shopping, I decided to move into the world of Business Development and put my legal background to good use. There’s nothing I like more than having conversations with people and trying to connect them with the best person who can help them.I regularly host a Lunch Club for lawyers, so drop me a DM if you want to join the next one.
