1. Sr Director, Clinical Systems Strategy and Governance - Technology

   Feb 2022 — Present

   I reported directly to the VP of Portfolio and Governance while leading the development and execution of a strategy to implement the Optum Clinical Manager (OCM) platform and working hand-in-hand with clinical IT leadership from UnitedHealth Group. My role required an in-depth understanding of products and existing systems across eight business lines to plan for strategic integration into the OCM platform. Built and led a 6-person OCM team from the ground up, developing a solutions-driven strategy and overseeing implementation initiatives to support clients and IT delivery teams across the organization. Partnered with CIO and CTO teams to define platform priorities, identify value drivers, and align technology strategies with business objectives. Curate subject matter experts for decommissioning 62 products and 72 systems while tailoring plans for each business area to facilitate resource reallocation and strategic integration into the OCM framework. Works jointly with Clinical Transformation and IT teams to create strategic roadmaps and implement documentation for new clinical ecosystems. Develop new governance for intake of new implementations and design roll out of OCM Knowledge Center on SharePoint. Led the development of operational strategies for the Implementation team, driving value-focused task prioritization and clear documentation for engagement and leadership reporting.
