ABOUT LARA GARRETT

After leaving Microsoft as a full-time employee in 2005, I have been lucky enough to doing what I love - working as an Event, Program, or Project Manager, with a comprehensive background helping clients succeed with their goals, on-time, and with high team and customer/partner/attendee satisfaction. In the event arena, I have over 20 years\' experience planning, managing, and executing successful industry events. I have held a multitude of event roles during my career, from full ownership of large-scale events leading entire teams and budgets, to owning various niche components within events, both big and small. My events have included client-owned events for customers/partners to client participation in third party industry events at which the client has a sponsorship, exhibitor, or other presence. In addition to my event work, I have also worked with numerous product teams to manage highly successful project/program deliverables. I enjoy working with so many teams and have developed wonderful relationships with the many fantastic clients I\'ve been honored to work with over the years. My favorite part of working with the different clients/teams has been experiencing the satisfaction from the clients, partners, customers, etc. at the end of the project/program/event, while also consistently reviewing with the client(s) where processes can be improved. Never stop growing and learning! I look forward to many years more with the many wonderful current and future new clients!
