About Lara Wellen
I am a senior at the University of Michigan, where I am pursuing a Linguistics major and minoring in Education. My ultimate goal is to become a speech-language pathologist specializing in working with adolescents. I’m passionate about helping young children develop strong communication skills because I believe these skills are essential for their social and academic success. My interest in working with kids has grown through my experiences as a student teacher, tutor, and assistant to a speech pathologist, as well as working with students who are learning English as a second language.
