I am a lawyer with close to 25 years of practice. I practice in the fields of intellectual property, franchising, marketing and advertising law, product packaging and labeling, consumer protection, information technology and the requirements of the Charter of the French Language. I also handle due diligence verifications and the negotiation and drafting of various agreements in relation to intellectual property matters, both on a national and international scale. I am a trademark agent and I focus my practice on the protection, management and defense of trademarks. I assist my clients with the execution of their overall growth strategy by insuring a valorization of their intangible assets, through the effective protection of their trademarks, implementation of national and international policies, efficient commercialization of their innovations and the enforcement of their proprietary rights.I am passionate about my areas of practice and provide guidance to my clients while using a value-based approach. I take my clients’ interest at heart and strive to understand clearly their affairs. I strive to deliver practical and tailored advice to ensure long-lasting relationships.I have participated to several local and international conferences and I was called upon to make a number of presentations and have drafted several articles in the field of intellectual property. I also attended the parliamentary commission with respect to the Charter of the French Language. I was recognized as a rising star and was nominated a finalist in the Quebec Young Professional under 40 category in the 2012 Edition, ARISTA Provincial Competition, organized by the Young Chamber of Commerce. I was a finalist in the “who’s who for trademark lawyers”. I was a partner at a large Montreal-based law firm before I decided to start my own firm. I am also perfectly bilingual.
