ABOUT LAQUENTA P. M.
With over 27 years of dedicated experience, I have served as a special education advocate, academic tutor, advisor, and secondary transition planner within the postsecondary education sector. My professional journey is driven by a profound passion for supporting students with disabilities across both K–12 education and higher education landscapes. I am committed to advancing special education advocacy, and actively engage in efforts that facilitate meaningful postsecondary education, employment opportunities, and independent living for individuals with disabilities. Academically, I hold a Master\'s degree in Educational Administration from Edinboro University (2010) and a Bachelor\'s degree in Special Education from Cheyney University of PA (1997). Currently, I am furthering my commitment by pursuing my EdD in Higher Education Administration, Innovation, and Student Success at Drexel University. Since December 2015, I have proudly served as the Secondary Transition Coordinator and IU26 Charter School Consultant for the School District of Philadelphia.
