ABOUT LANTZ BILES
Honorably discharged from the United States Army where I served in the Military Police Corps. While serving, I was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, and Southwest Asia Service Medal w/ Bronze service star-2. Upon leaving the U.S. Army, I entered the campus law enforcement profession, where I served for many years as a sworn police officer in Knoxville, Tennessee. While with the University of Tennessee–Knoxville Police Department, I served as a Field Training Officer, Crime Prevention Officer and Shift Supervisor. I later relocated to Augusta Georgia where I served as a Shift Supervisor and Manager of the Public Safety Division’s, Parking Services Bureau. Former Director and Chief of Police for the Public Safety Department at Austin Peay State University. Director of Security for Native American Healthcare provider. Life member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated.
