ABOUT SHEN XU FEDIPADVPRA

Implementing artificial intelligence for professionals to improve efficiencyShen Xu is a researcher & developer in system engineering. Before devoting himself to scientific research and system engineering work, he worked as a professional cost estimator. During his work, he found out there are many areas for improvement and automation possibilities from a technological perspective. He went to university to seek solutions during his PhD research. He conducted research on system informatics at University of Reading. The research developed an information system by utilising data, information and knowledge. It uses computing languages to describe/represent professional knowledge, workflow, and prototyping. Furthermore, his future research aim is to implementing them in a production system. Four major projects are being tested by his methodology/framework:1. Provenance system for healthcare data visualisation (moving to a production system); 2. Expert system for cost estimator (prototyped and research approved); 3. Business processes automation in ERP system (three sub-projects were developed and are in production system);4. Costing visualisation for BIM system (team consultant on delivering cost estimator\'s work flow in the BIM system).He is a highly-motivated expert in knowledge of provenance, AI and computer science, have excellent ability to drive advanced concepts to a prototype level as well as academic paper publishing. Someone who can work independently, utilising a highly crafted ingenuity at resolving root cause problems, planning, reporting, exceptional time management and communication abilities.
