As a Clinical Lead (CL I am ultimately responsible for planning, scheduling, managing, and delivering all clinical operations aspects of a study. I expertly manage all channels of communication and demonstrate advanced judgement in selecting the proper mode of communication for the situation. I am adept at managing the proper escalation points based on the circumstances and keep other departments informed of developments affecting their functions.I am a leader within the Clinical Management Group (CMG) and I am often assigned to studies that are demanding and high in complexity. Studies take place globally and my role does have an oversight component managing regional CLs. Expected activities include the confident and successful oversight and management of CRAs in a matrix environment as well as direct involvement in selection and activation of investigative sites. I am also responsible for proactively supervising compliance through identification/mitigation of risk and ensuring adherence to ICH, GCP, SOPs, and the study protocol over the life of the study. I providehigh touch internal and external customer service by establishing, maintaining, and enhancing relationships with sponsors, internal teams, and investigative sites.
