About Pat Lang

Born and raised in Appleton, WI, I have a close connection with the local area. During my time at Appleton North High School, I learned that I had a talent for both Music, as I am a violinist, and mathematics. I ended up graduating within the top 10 percent of my class. While I was in high school, I started working at 2 companies: L2 Accounting and Antojitos Mexicanos. While working at L2, I developed an interest for Accounting, strong analytical skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Soon after, I started working at Antojtios, a higher quality mexican restaurant. Over the past 2 and a half years there I have developed strong team work skills with great time management, especially with going to college full-time. At UW Oshkosh, I have achieved many personal goals. I joined the University\'s Honors Program, which then transitioned to the Honors college, and with hard work I recieved Dean\'s List twice over the past 3 semesters. Currently, I am entering the College of Business at the end of this semester, once I complete the necessary pre-requisites. Also, as I am a violinist, I am the Concertmaster of the UW Oshkosh Symphony Orchestra; that honor was very important to myself as I strive for excellence with hard practice and work. It is my goal to graduate in December 2020 with a BBA in Accounting, so that I can pursue a public accounting career after graduation.
