About Langley Wolfe
I am ambitious about studying communications and aspiring to practice law in the future because of my sister’s inability to speak. She has inspired me to advocate for the underrepresented populations in our world. It is not just those who cannot voice their needs and challenges who need help; several issues in this world rely on the work of communicators and advocates to help spread awareness and make a positive difference. My journey as a University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill student has been built around my passion for communications and advocacy. I am a senior studying at the Hussman School of Media and Journalism, where I am expanding my strategic thinking, teamwork, and leadership skills while learning about the dynamic field of public relations and communications as a whole. After my first year at UNC-Chapel Hill, I studied abroad in Paris, France, for a summer. While abroad, I gained a deeper understanding of different global perspectives and international media landscapes. Being a student at the Hussman School of Media and Journalism has also allowed me to join clubs and organizations in the communications field. As the CEO of Heelprint Communications, a student-led communications agency on campus, I have advanced my organizational and administrative skills by managing numerous teams of students and connecting them with local businesses in the Chapel Hill/Durham area to complete communications campaigns. As a goal-driven and earnest student passionate about communications and advocacy, I want to explore new opportunities in diverse professional environments with organizations that value creativity, leadership, and advocacy.
