   Planner, exercise leader, and incident manager for all IT Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Plans (BCP) for MidAmerican Energy and the Berkshire Hathaway Energy consolidated IT department, serving 11 electric companies across 28 states with employees and 5 million customers.Managed a team to ensure seamless coordination and effective execution of all disaster recovery and business continuity initiatives. Conducted thorough business impact analysis, identifying the multiple operating companies\' critical missions. Performed focused IT risk assessments, analyzing impacts from natural events, technological incidents, and human-caused events against the company\'s critical missions. Utilized results to identify areas for improvement and create plans.Led and mentored teams in the creation of disaster recovery run books, standardizing processes and improving efficiency through collaboration and strong project management.Planned and executed extensive IT DR and BCP exercises, conducting over 25 exercises in the first 12 months against multiple hazards.
