ABOUT LANE JERSILD

Former assistant football coach. Currently looking for a new role.Following a 5 year career as a college football athlete I immediately began the transition from player to coach. With my time as a football coach I contributed to the development and performance of the team, with a focus on special teams and tight ends. I worked with the head coach and other staff to plan, execute, and evaluate the strategies, tactics, and training programs for the players. I also support the recruitment, retention, and academic success of the student-athletes, as well as the compliance with the NCAA and conference rules and regulations.I have over four years of coaching experience at different levels of college football, including FBS, FCS, and Division II. I started my career as a defense and special teams graduate assistant at the University of North Alabama. I then moved to Kent State University as a special teams and TE analyst, where I assisted the special teams coordinator and the tight ends coach in preparing the game plans, scouting reports, and film breakdowns. I created datasets to present to the staff weekly using the different information that we had throughout our databases and demonstrated them to the staff on google sheets with most representations in pivot tables/graphs.I am looking to connect and meet people during this transition and would love an opportunity to connect!
