About Lane Holley
First generation college student always looking for an opportunity to grow as an engineer, teammate, and individual. Passionate about mechanical design and excited to see where my career takes me. Enriching project experience in the workplace, classroom, and personal life. Developed various scaled pump models, a footlong torsion-spring-powered car, and conducted sponsored research on recycling PET bottles into 3D printer filament, just to name a few! Overarching emphasis of using 3D printing as a prototyping and manufacturing technology. Proud to play a part in continuing to build the UGA CREATE Labs program!

Introduced to design, manufacturing, and testing of a wide variety of positive displacement pumps- Utilized 3D printing in industry: model pumps for sales and instructional use, rapid prototyping for New Product Development engineers, and purposefully design items- Assisted in systematic pump-testing setup and procedures- Designed parts to aid in assembly area reimagining: Pump assembly fixtures, part bin organization- Gained valuable insight into the real world of engineering in an industrial setting.
