As an AALD Ambassador at the University of Missouri, I serve as a peer leader supporting academic success, professional development, and engagement in campus life. I mentor small groups of students, guiding them in career readiness, academic achievement, and leadership growth, while representing the AALD office at workshops, panels, resource fairs, and other campus events. In collaboration with fellow ambassadors, I will contribute to designing and implementing a capstone project that demonstrates leadership in action. Through ongoing leadership training, professional development modules, and cohort-based discussions, I continue to strengthen skills in communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and personal branding, while modeling core values such as integrity, accountability, collaboration, and adaptability.
