As the Project Manager I provide total direction and supervision on all electrical projects from inception until project close-out. I am responsible for maintaining the highest standard of workmanship, completing project schedules to meet deadlines, preserving the project budget to ensure the final gross margin, while maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction throughout. Lead the planning and implementation of projects and provide daily coaching and counseling to field supervision to ensure each project’s success. Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables. Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions. Negotiate & resolve issues related to Change Orders, Requests for Information, Contract Scope of Work promptly. Maintain rapport with architects, engineers, and general contractors to ensure customer satisfaction, quality of service, and long-term relations. Manage financial aspects of contracts (progress billing, rental equipment, income/expenses) to protect the company’s interest. Manage all closeout procedures including documentation, filing, record drawings, construction cost database input, follow-up marketing, and team debriefing. Conduct quality control of all projects to ensure code compliance. Review daily reports and draft schedules to meet project deadlines. Provide daily coaching and counseling to field supervision to ensure each project’s success. Attend/participate in project meetings and conference calls. Read and interpret job plans and specifications to develop complete and accurate takeoff and prepare bids for the electrical construction of projects.
