About Landon Little
My background includes serving as a supervisor, environmental biologist, and environmental consultant. Most recently. I have also recently worked in environmental consulting where I had to understand the plans for construction around the environment.HNTB currently employs me as an environmental scientist. With this position comes CE writing, Red Flag Investigations, Early Coordination, Waters Reports, and Permit Writing. I am involved heavily in the NEPA process with some of INDOT\'s largest projects.My previous environmental scientist (KCI Technologies) that I have worked for demonstrated key skills when working with rivers, streams, and planted forests. I went to field sites to collect data i.e. identify trees, and grade streams, and record changes from year to year. Through this position, I have acquired a significant understanding of proper and improper infrastructure in and around streams and rivers.`The previous environmental consulting firm (Green 3 LLC) that I worked for demonstrated valuable skills working with EPA regulations of wetlands and waterways. I demonstrated the ability to ensure proper testing and identification of wetlands. I have also acquired the ability to use ArcGIS for the identification of hazardous materials, infrastructure, and mining areas.In addition to this experience, I have a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences where I have gained knowledge of the scientific process that goes into research in the environment and health fields of work.
