ABOUT LANDON KOROUS

My Name Is Landon Korous and I am from Carmel, Indiana. I am majoring in Finance and Business Managment. I am interested in this field because I believe I am an exceptional leader, and I enjoy looking through financial items. I have multiple forms of leadership experience. I was the team captain for my high school and club soccer team. Also, I had the Team Lead position at my high school job: Crew Carwash. In addition to my leadership skill, this job helped me discover my skills of selling goods to consumers and connecting to people. This helped me realize I want to go into business. My primary strengths are leadership, connecting to people, my determination, my faith, and influencing others. My interests are sports, hanging with friends, and stock trading. Some experiences where I gained my skills was during soccer season. I had to push my teammates to be the best version of themselves both on and off the field. I tried to display a good work ethic in hopes that my teammates would do the same. Something I learned as being a leader during the season is that you have to have respect and show a positive attitude towards teammates in order to get that in exchange. Moving forward I plan to utilize my skills in college and my future career. I will use my determination to help others, and I succeed. I eventually want to be a financial manager at some corporate company, so I plan to use my leadership skills to influence others and help them grow as individuals in their own life. Also, I plan to continue connecting to people in order to network. I believe that the more I network, the more opportunities that I will have. Finally, I will use my faith to help guide me in the right direction and do the right thing.
