As an Construction Manager for HNTB, I provided assistance to clients in delivery of projects in the Hampton Roads region, currently for the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT). Responsibilities include on-site supervision of construction management and inspection staff. Perform technical reviews of shop drawings, submittals, request for information, field design changes, and deviations. Further I execute independent assurance and verification programs, which include reviewing notice of intents of request for change for merit, compensation, and time relief. Further, I analyze monthly project schedule updates, and oversee project controls, including checking contractor controls.Prior to my current position I was a Project Manager for Balfour Beatty, I provided management, planning, design, procurement, coordination, cost control, and support efforts for the Track, Overhead Contact System, Traction Power, and Signal Systems discipline. I worked on the $1.3B JV Project in Boston, MA on the Green Line Extension. This comes after a successful close out and completion of the Blue Line Extension in Charlotte, NC valued at $151M. I was also involved in the estimating and bid process for the North Metro Project in Denver, Colorado during my transition from Pueblo, CO to Charlotte, NC in 2013 for Balfour Beatty. Additionally, I successfully completed projects including RTD\'s West Corridor in 2013, PLC Upgrade Project in 2013, I-90 Track Bridge & Prototype Project 2013, and the Charlotte Street Project 2015.
