I am a person who loves to work with others and think outside the box to solve problems. I love developing documents which help providers and others to chart and work smarter while at the same time improving documentation and the ability to sort information and present it effectively and consistently. Recently I have started a requested project for our group on note standardization and have found numerous ways to decrease note bloat while still providing information clinicians desire for review and have managed with this to improve coding compliance and decrease time in chart review. We have also been able to embed tools to remind clinicians of care gaps and to allow ease in reporting. I am board certified in both clinical informatics and pediatrics so I understand clearly what needs to be documented and how to accomplish that in a way that makes it easy for providers with clear concise notes.
