ABOUT LANCE GAULD

I have been in the IT industry for nearly 40 years mostly developing and running my own business, recently i sold my main IT company, Cloud Cover IT to Aspire Technology in Gateshead, which has been very exciting and interesting to make an exit after 12 years of running CCIT. It opens your eyes selling an IT company with 36 staff to a company of 350 staff with the level of professionalism and knowledge that that it can bring to the market.I have now completed my earn out with Aspire and will continue as a brand AmbassadorIn the mean time my attention has turned to help with the running and growth of Flyte Cloud Services which my son Alasdair Gauld has been developing since it was spun out of CCIT two years ago. IT has been great receiving the help and support of Aspire Technologies during this time and enables Flyte to spread its wings on its own for the start of 2026.I am also looking at helping businesses with business consultancy on technology and with my recent experiences of selling my business successfully.
