The complexity of a product life-cycle is similar to coaching a sports team: you need to have the right people, in the right role, executing the right tasks to achieve success. Understanding the key components to how products travel through the life-cycle is also essential through the cross functional relationships of all the departments including operations, finance, marketing, IT, and even the pesky accountants that analyze it all. Outside of \"work\" I\'ve coached basketball for over 20 years, had a sports radio segment and consulted in gaming, and in a previous life traveled the world playing poker.
