Hello, I\'m Lance! My specialty is optimizing horizontal wells and executing complex multimillion dollar projects end-to-end for drilling operations across four continents. With 45+ years of Oil & Gas experience in senior-level management staff and consulting roles such as Senior Wellsite Supervisor and Country Drilling Superintendent, I’ve had the opportunity to wear multiple hats providing exceptional value to the companies, crews, and customers I serve. I excel at remote and high-risk horizontal well operations, with countless rigs mobilized and installed across North & South America, Africa, and Asia despite countless technical challenges. My hands-on approach to building effective teams comes from a passion for mentoring and a reputation of excellent working relationships with Engineering, Accounting, Construction, and Safety/HSE teams. From 1990 to I traveled broadly supporting international drilling operations across Nigeria, Cameroon, and Tunisia building roads and camps, mobilizing land rigs, and collaborating with local governments to permit continued operations. Onshore Experience: United States / Saudi Arabia / Libya / Canada / Venezuela / Colombia / Kuwait / Tunisia / Cameroon Offshore Experience: United States / Egypt / Saudi Arabia / Venezuela / Peru / Nigeria / Tunisia / The Congo Some of my key areas of expertise include: OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT: Built 30 km of road through jungle territory and drilled 40 wells concurrently using jack-up rigs that were converted to production platforms. COMMUNICATION & LOGISTICS: Championed innovative leadership techniques for rig crews and teams across 7+ shale formations and basins in addition to coordinating logistics for moving equipment from Belize to Cameroon. SAFETY COMPLIANCE & TECHNICAL EXPERTISE: Damatically cut days on wells and overall downtime for operations in Nigeria, Cameroon, and Tunisia by working with local governments and instating proper safety procedures. Most importantly, I’m a reliable team player who enjoys collaborating with a wide variety of cross-functional teams – from in-field crews to in-office engineers to senior-level management.
