About Lance Martinson

I am part of the Katies Way Plus Team. We are dedicated to serving the Service Men and Women of Fort Riley and surrounding areas, their families and all of the Veterans of military service with Deep Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (dTMS) and mental health resources close to home. Thriving in a complex area of operations with challenging goals for high achievement, I am known for my problem-solving skills. As a team player, I understand the value of collaboration, realizing that the team\'s success is my own success. This mindset has been ingrained in me during my tenure with the Army Healthcare Recruiting Company in Boston, MA, and remains with me to this day. In addition to my military career, I have recently embarked on a journey as a freelance photographer, specializing in professional headshots for graduating high school and college seniors. As an entrepreneur, I have put my marketing skills and self-starter attitude to work, fully understanding that generating future work requires dedication and effort, a lesson I carried with me from my time in the Army Healthcare Recruiting Company. My professional journey includes various leadership roles, such as the Non-Commissioned Officer In Charge (NCOIC) of the US Army Oral Surgery Clinic, where I am responsible for managing a team of surgeons, surgical assistants, and support staff, while also overseeing medical and IT equipment worth $1.2 million. I take pride in maintaining clinic function, appearance, and processes in accordance with regulatory guidelines, such as The Joint Commission (TJC) standards. Besides my military service, I have demonstrated my expertise as a freelance photographer with my business,\"Shotz by Marty.\" Through event photography, wedding photography, family portraits, and professional portraits, I have honed my skills and built meaningful relationships in my community. Throughout my journey, I have furthered my education to enhance my capabilities. I completed the US Army Medical Non-Commissioned Officer Academy Senior Leaders Course in Military and Strategic Leadership, empowering me to take on greater responsibilities in leadership positions.
