ABOUT LANCE MANNING

Dr. Manning is a triple-board-certified surgeon and physician leader with special interests in the areas of health technology, emotional intelligence, and practice leadership & management. While his primary medical practice passions are treating patients with head and neck cancer, sleep disorders, or needing facial reconstruction; he also serves in numerous national, regional, and local leadership positions. He enjoys the comradery, intellectual stimulation, and opportunity to affect national health-care policy by currently serving in many national roles for the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery (AAO-HNS); including serving as a past Chair for the Board of Governors (BOG), serving on the AAO-HNS Board of Directors and Executive Committee, as Chairman of Practice Management Education, and serving on the BOG Executive Committee, Education Steering Committee, Annual Meeting Program Committee, Physician Payment Policy workgroup, and the advisory team to the AMA RUC. He is the incoming coordinator for Healthcare Policy and Advocacy for the AAO-HNS. He is a full fellow of the American College of Surgeons, the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the American Board of Sleep Medicine, and the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.
