About Lance Hubbard
Lance Hubbard, Ph.D. is responsible for the development of innovative and new materials solutions to further the national security science and technology (S&T) mission focuses.Dr. Hubbard joined Los Alamos National Laboratory in 2025 after a partnership with Pacific Northwest National Laboratory which was focused on the development of electroless metallization schemes for low-temperature semiconductor processing. He has a wide range of interests: optical design of experiments, solar simulation, electroless metallization, refractory electroplating, uranium target design, explosion resistant tracers, and remote sensing for manufacturing quality assurance.Prior to his work with the national laboratories, Dr. Hubbard was focused on hypersonic armor design and corrosion at the Department of Defense. He has also spent several years teaching and mentoring students at several institutions. Open Publications are on Research Gate: ID:
