About Lance Hamilton
Nashville native and University of Rochester grad with a nonlinear path into software — I spent time as a helpdesk technician, IT consultant, and baseball coach before finding my way to development through Nashville Software School. For the past 6+ years I\'ve been building and supporting enterprise health and wellness platforms, working primarily in.NET, SQL Server, and modern JavaScript frameworks like NestJS and Next.js. Day to day that means everything from API development and database work to to source control and deployments via Azure DevOps, Github and Harness. I got into this field because I\'ve always been drawn to building things and solving problems and software turns out to be a pretty good place to do both.
