About Lance Gillespie
Growing up in a small town in Show Low, Arizona, where there are plenty of forests, lakes, and mountains to endlessly explore, I have cultivated a love for the process of design. I have always been inspired by design, family, and nature as they provide so much complex beauty. While I appreciate the community and support I had in my small town, there were often environments I felt uncomfortable in and couldn\'t completely be myself. To attain the comfort in day-to-day life that I desired, I began looking for ways to change my environment and ventured into graphic forms of design in high school. After taking classes for multiple years and being intrigued by architecture, I decided to pursue a degree in interior design at Arizona State University (ASU). Being inspired in this new environment, I was able to begin exploring parts of myself I hadn\'t felt comfortable with previously. My minor in sustainability has brought inspiration to be a part of a larger effort within the field of design. Having recently graduated from ASU, I have enjoyed working with so many different kinds of individuals. I am constantly looking to expand my perception of the world and better understand different perspectives. I look forward to working with those seeking a change or refreshment to their environment, striving to bring about a positive impact and help others feel comfortable and safe in their own space. I am a strong believer that the environment and the people one surrounds themselves with can greatly impact one\'s daily life. Intrigued by sustainably-conscious architecture and design, I lead with an empathetic and interconnected mindset to ensure wholesome and inclusive designs transpire. My innate desire to better understand different perspectives and build lasting relationships with clients and vendors establishes design integrity in all of my work.
