Maintain oversight and alignment of CSI’s North American and global recruitment as noted below in addition to assuming responsibility for the day-to-day operational human resources for the Canadian office. This includes ongoing supervisor and employee relationship building, conflict resolution, oversight of the Canadian employee benefit and pension programs, ability management program, etc. This description is by no means exhaustive.Takes an active role in semi-monthly payroll including monitoring timesheets to ensure accurate entries and timely approvals by both employees and supervisors. Participate in payroll processing meetings to ensure payroll is processed and delivered to employees accurately and any adjustments are made in a timely fashion. Responsible for the administration of CSC’s employee benefit and pension programs, including the enrollment, de-enrollment, answering employee and company questions regarding these programs, facilitating educational opportunities for employees regarding their pensions and investments, government reporting and more as required on a day-to-day basis.Works closely with the Canadian Operations Director on strategic and operational HR needs in addition to both current and future human resourcing needs to ensure the Canadian resourcing needs are met for ongoing stability and profitability.Supervises Recruiting team (located in Edmonton and Logan), Administrative team (located in Edmonton) and the Canadian office’s Health and Safety program Coordinator (located in Edmonton).
