Perform Moderate and High Complexity Testing on blood and all types of body fluidSpecimens• Able to work in various areas of the Laboratory (i.e. Chemistry, Hematology, BloodBank, Microbiology, etc.)• Ensure accurate and reliable test results by adhering to instrument maintenance,calibration and quality control procedures.• Maintain records and statistical data according to regulatory requirements• Coordinate with phlebotomy and other hospital staff to ensure proper collection ofpatient samples• Troubleshoot problems with laboratory equipment, test methods, and sample collection• Train new employees and students on laboratory methods, instruments, and policies• Communicate patient results and/or problems to Medical or Nursing Staff
