ABOUT LAMIA NUR RAHMAN
Hello, my name is Lamia Nur Rahman. I am a first-generation immigrant student at Hobart and William Smith Colleges, majoring in Economics and minoring in Entrepreneurial Studies and Management. I am a committed debater and a passionate critical thinker. I have worked for multiple local research companies in Bangladesh that have conducted consumer feedback projects on FMCGs for companies. I have also interned for InfoTitan, a Bangladesh-based service company, and trained their agents on communication etiquette. During my high school years, I competed in debate and was chosen to be a member of the national debate team, which went on to represent Bangladesh in the World Schools Debating Championship. My accolades in debate helped me land a scholarship at my current college. I understand the importance of willpower, leadership, and growth. Hence, I am very enthusiastic about my future endeavors.
