My research concerns protection against gravity-driven natural hazards in mountainous areas, with a particular focus on rockfall (embankments and barriers), snow avalanches and The response of protective structures to severe loading (impacts.) is studied via small scale experiments in the lab and field experiments, on real scale structures, coupled with numerical modeling.Projects- C2ROP2 ( French national project)- Pridyn ( FUI leaded by GTS)- AERES (funded by BAFU/OFEV, CH)- Mumolade (European Marie Curie funded)- Rempare (funded by the French national research agency)Have a look to links below for my scientific publications!
