About Laly Vandenberghe

To meld my passion for travel with developing tactical roadmaps, I develop strategy and associated implementation plans for Marriott Bonvoy. I keep a pulse on our members’ pain points, as well as the competitive landscape, to define the technology capabilities that will support the future of Marriott Bonvoy in the short-to-medium term. Among my colleagues, I am known for developing processes that bring order to the chaos (such as technology intake and prioritization across multiple teams), navigating complex organizations, and succinctly communicating the program’s strategy, both inside and outside of Marriott.While I\'m now a long-time resident of the DC area, I grew up in Belgium and moved to the United States to attend Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration. Now, I am a Cornell “Hotelie” through and through — I enjoy travel, good food (both cooking and eating), and visiting wineries in the greater DC area.
