I’m a passionate and performance-driven quality professional with over 22 years of experience in the automotive industry, currently working as Deputy General Manager – Quality (Chassis) at Tata Motors Ltd. My expertise lies in design quality, new product development, supplier quality, project management, and field/warranty issue resolution for both electric and passenger vehicles.Car, Truck (ILMCV, SCV), Electric Buses.Throughout my career, I’ve led quality functions across global OEM projects, worked overseas (Malaysia), and handled complex systems like suspension, shock absorbers, brake systems, fuel systems, and engine/motor mounts. I specialize in DFMEA/PFMEA, APQP, PPAP, 8D, QMS (IATF 16949), and World Class Quality systems. My approach blends engineering insight with a strong foundation in Six Sigma and operational excellence, always focused on reducing cost of poor quality (COPQ) and improving customer satisfaction.With a BE in Mechanical Engineering, an MBA in Operations & Supply Chain, and currently pursuing a PhD in Organizational Management, I strive to continually enhance both technical and leadership capabilities.    Responsible Commodity: Chassis for Electric Vehicle, Passenger Vehicle, SCV, Electric & ICE Buses & Truck, Suspension System, Shocks Absorber, Brakes System (Hydraulic and Air brake), Steering System, Fuel System, Exhaust System, Motor Mount etc. 4W (4 Wheeler Passenger Vehicle, Electric Vehicle, SCV & Truck ) assembly.New Product Development Quality-• New design/process study risk assessment and mitigation through DFMEA for chassis commodity.• Ensure through a process-based manner that Engineering Quality is achieved and leads to overall achievement of Safety, Performance, Durability, Reliability in the final vehicles launched by the company• Support the quality related problem solving and root cause analysis during design, development manufacturing before program launch. •CTQ.• Lead & Participate in CFT Interactions with Internal & External Teams such as Designers, Integrators, Testing, Purchase, Process, Plant QA, CQA, Warranty, Service & Suppliers.• Developing new product designs including design plan, design review, design verification plan, DFMEA, design improvements etc. to meet the customer’s requirement.• IDT, ODT vehicle test report review to confirm vehicle/components are meeting PAT target.• Monitor Vehicle assembly proto line build issues, vehicle IDT & ODT testing quality issues, and make sure all issues closed with proper 8D which has properly incorporated in DFMEA, PFMEA & control plan.• Link between DFMEA and PFMEA • Developing and implementing effective DFMEA training plans for all levels of the Tata Motors.Supplier Quality• Supplier PPAP / process audit.• Conduct DFMEA, PFMEA, 8D, PDCA, 7QC, MSA, Process Capability Study, Control Plan training for suppliers on need ba. • Perform Supplier AuditCustomer Quality / Vehicle Warranty• IPTV monitoring for vehicle and make sure top priority issue closed with proper corrective actions. • Warranty / Field complaints analysis.
