Involved in the deposition of a 600 nm thick Silicon Nitride film, implementing an innovative crack barrier method using contact lithography and etching to mitigate cracking in thick film Silicon Nitride. The deposition was performed using Low Pressure Chemical Vapor Deposition (LPCVD).•Led the nano-fabrication process for High Q-SiN resonators: Applied a spin-coating technique for silicon nitride combined with E-beam resist and executed precise exposure using Electron beam lithography.•Utilized ICP-RIE fluorine etcher for etching and post etch characterization was done using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and profilometer.•Pioneered a novel approach to achieve low-loss facets using a thick layer of photoresist, exposed using contact photolithography and ICP-RIE etching.
