From an aspiring Chartered accountant navigating the intricate corridors of audit, taxation and finance to a strategic thinker shaping the future of a business organization in a global simulation, my journey in finance has been anything but ordinary. My professional story began at Mehta Garg and Dhanuka, a distinguished CA firm where I was immersed in the rigorous world of audits. Here, I honed my skills on statutory and internal audits for educational institutions, manufacturers, and service organizations with turnovers reaching up to ₹500 crores. I learned to see beyond numbers, understanding the nuances of compliance and risk, and ensuring that every detail aligned with industry standards. The next chapter of my career unfolded at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Service Delivery Center, where I expanded my horizons to the global stage. As part of the Assurance team for Canada, I delved into the financial intricacies of asset management and investment banking, executing over 100 financial statement tie-outs and ensuring the highest standards of accuracy and reliability. My time at PwC wasn’t just about numbers—it was about the stories those numbers told and the integrity they represented. But my journey didn’t stop there. I had the opportunity to step into a completely different realm with the Marketplace Simulation Activity by CA Monk. Imagine collaborating with over 15 teammates to build a business from the ground up, focused on cutting-edge 3D printing technology. We weren’t just participants; we were innovators, strategists, and market leaders. From cash flow projections to investment analysis, from product design to pricing strategies, every decision was a piece of the puzzle that led our team to rank among the top 10% worldwide. It was a whirlwind experience that pushed the boundaries of my strategic thinking and reaffirmed my passion for finance. Today, as I continue my journey, I carry with me the lessons learned, the skills honed, and the stories shaped by each chapter of my career. I’m excited to bring this blend of technical expertise, leadership, and creative problem-solving to new challenges, helping organizations navigate the complex financial landscape with confidence and clarity.
