To gather requirements from Business and to understand the application architecture, web & application servers, database server protocol between client and server-Design test plan document to ensure efficient execution of entire testing process which includes determining Performance testing goals, scope, Entrance and exit criteria’s, Deadlines and milestones to be met, Load analysis approach, risks and any mitigations-Define functional validation matrix by analyzing the requirement’s and test cases which are be tested-Develop work load model to determine key aspects of performance testing phase where user load, business critical scenarios to be tested, test mix, network mix, etc. are determined-To work with client-server, web- services, web, mobile, database, and SOA technologies/frameworks-To work with databases like MySQL, DB2, SQL server and Oracle database-To know network related issues by understanding HTTP, DNS, Networking ISO tree, and system resources measurement-To work on scripting by employing protocols HTTP, Web Services, AJAX, AJAX TruClient, Multi-protocol, Siebel, Flex etc-To perform various kinds of testing like load, stress, endurance, capacity and fail-over tests based on the requirements gathered from the business-To identify high level performance bottlenecks like identifying Memory leaks, inefficient garbage collection, poor configuration of DB connections, inefficient code transactions, Application server poor configuration, network usage, memory leaks, poorly written SQL queries, missing indexes, deadlocks, etc-Identify Throughput, Transactions per second, Average response time, Hits per second, connections per second, running virtual users, etc based on the Service Level Agreement-Extensively use performance monitoring tools: Dynatrace, Sitescope, AppDynamics-To conduct web service testing which requires usage of SOAP, WSDL, XML and Restful API web services.Coordinate with Off Shore on project issues and executions.
