About Lakshit Sethia

I recently graduated from IIT Guwahati with a degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering and a minor in Computer Science.My journey has been pretty diverse - from competitive programming where I reached Expert level on Codeforces (rating 1605), with a focus on algorithmic optimization and problem solving, to building full-stack applications that actually solve real problems. During college, I built CourseHub, which ended up getting over visits and app downloads while managing a complex database with files across 150+ courses.At Barclays during my internship, I worked on migrating 5 legacy ETL workflows to AWS and developing 12 optimized Glue Jobs - not the most glamorous work, but it taught me a lot about enterprise-scale systems and cloud infrastructure. I also deployed machine learning models in production, including a facial recognition system that achieved 96% accuracy.At Medsolu, I led the complete development of a healthcare delivery app that\'s now live on Google Play Store. The project was pretty ambitious: building a platform where people can both seek and provide healthcare services while also participating in blood donation networks. The blood management system alone handles donor registrations, inventory tracking for blood banks, and blood camp certifications. Managing everything from UI/UX design to backend architecture to Play Store deployment taught me a lot about shipping consumer products.More recently, I also developed a complete stock and salary management system for a garment manufacturing company, handling their day-to-day operations.What really excites me is the intersection of hardware and software. I\'ve implemented neural networks on FPGAs, built mobile apps with real-time AI features, and worked with everything from low-level embedded systems to cloud-based backends. I think this breadth gives me a unique perspective on how different parts of the tech stack work together.Currently exploring opportunities in high-growth tech companies and quantitative finance firms where technical excellence and algorithmic thinking drive impact.
