About Laila Tehrani

Hi! I’m Laila, a current senior and soon-to-be graduate of the University of California, Davis. I am earning a Bachelors of Science in Managerial Economics and Bachelors of Arts in Design, with concentrations in business economics and graphic design. Combining these studies has allowed me to explore both analytical and creative outlets aligned with my passion for the entertainment industry. When I was just a senior in high school, I was selected as a Reach Honorship recipient at Warner Bros. Discovery, a program that grants four consecutive summer internships throughout each year of college. Four years later, I completed the program and graduated with extensive experience in the entertainment industry, specifically Studio Operations. I most recently interned with Warner Bros. Post Production Creative Services where I supported the direct department and their sound design teams. Born and raised in Los Angeles, I am returning to the city after graduation, with the goal of pursuing a career in executive management at a major film studio. I am passionate about the intersection of business and storytelling, and excited to contribute to compelling narratives. At UC Davis, I recently completed a spread in ‘Vol9: Butterfly Effect’ for InPrint Magazine as a graphic designer where my experience in the Adobe Creative Suite is shown.
