ABOUT LAILA GUIDO
I’m a sophomore at Stonehill College studying Early Childhood Education. I’m originally from Westchester, New York, and I’m passionate about working with children and supporting their development. I currently work at Easterseals Project Inspire in an after-care program and also serve as a per diem substitute teacher at Hawthorne Elementary School, where I continue to gain hands-on classroom experience. I am a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Education student with hands-on experience in both classroom and after-school settings. Along with my strong ability to manage classroom behavior, adapt activities to meet diverse learning needs, and build positive relationships with students, families, and staff. I am known for staying calm under pressure and using effective problem-solving skills to address behavioral challenges, schedule changes, and individual student needs. I am highly organized, reliable, and quick to learn, with a proactive approach to supporting inclusive and engaging learning environments.
