From international athlete to sport development storyteller — I build experiences, events, and content that make people feel sport.I’m Laiba, an MSc Sport Management student at Loughborough University with a background spanning international competition, event operations, digital media, and community sport development.My journey started on the courts — representing Pakistan at World Juniors, AFL World Cup, and Asian Championships — but it evolved into something bigger: using sport as a platform for impact.I’ve founded a community sports nonprofit (Kaavish Foundation), led large-scale university events, worked in MMC roles, and supported national-level sport activations such as Volleyball England, NBL Badminton, and Talk Sport 2026.Along the way, I became an IOC-certified Safeguarding Officer, a Global Changemaker, and a youth advocate passionate about safer, more inclusive sporting pathways.Today, I’m focused on three pillars:• Sport Events & Operations — creating seamless, people-centred experiences• Media, Marketing & Communications — capturing stories that shape sport culture• Sport-for-Development — designing programmes that uplift communitiesIf you’re looking for someone who understands sport from the ground to the boardroom — athlete, organiser, communicator, leader — I’d love to connect.
